Welcome to St. Brendan

     Dear Parents,

February, the month of hearts and flowers, family, friendship, Random Act of

Kindness week and Ash Wednesday.  During this month we celebrate our families,

friendships, and echo caring thoughts, words and acts of kindness toward each

other.  We remember that friendship is a gift from the heart and that kindness

is not something we teach but is something we model in our daily lives.  We will

continue to share our generous hearts with each other and are grateful for the many kindnesses we

    experience.

We are very thankful for all the support of our parent community at large and School Council members. Many thanks to our parent volunteers for; helping in the classrooms, going on fieldtrips, tying skates and preparing our hot lunches. We appreciate the many things you do to help us make St. Brendan a place of community and family.

On Ash Wednesday, February 16, we begin the seven week season of Lent; a time

of preparation for the liturgical feast of Easter.  During Lent we are invited to

prepare for Easter; Lent is a time of reflection and renewal, to look inside ourselves

and to truly be who we are; a time to give more fully to one another.

This year in our commitment to becoming more “green”, we are moving toward an

electronic mail out of the monthly newsletter. If you wish to receive the newsletter

electronically please contact Mrs.Knorr in the office. A paper copy of the newsletter

will still be available if you are unable to access the newsletter electronically.

Take time to give to one another; enjoy your family and the friendships that you share.

    Many Blessings,

Mrs. Ida Poulin                                             Mr. Tony Martino
